Vampiric Ghost Woman Caught on Tape in Indonesia?
Hell hath no fury, like a woman scorned. Especially if she’s a vampiric ghost thing that has really sharp claws and likes to rip out and eat your organs. And now you know why guys are afraid to talk to women. OK, maybe that’s not the reason why (
it’s actually because we like you, but we’re to afraid that we’re gone make a fool of ourselves and you’ll reject us), but there are some particular Indonesian women that everyone should be afraid of. Actually, they’re not even people, at least not anymore. These women are called the “Pontianak”, and they’re said to be a vampiric ghost creatures that kill people and feed on their organs. According to the Malay and Indonesian legend, they’re were once human women who died while pregnant. Now these women have returned as angry, killer spirits. They’re described as having long hair, pale skin and wearing a long white dress, the Pontianak are said to mimic the sounds of a crying baby. If the cries are soft, then she is nearby, but if the cries are loud, then she is far away.
It’s also believed that dogs can sense their presence. If the dog is howling, the she’s far away, but if it’s whimpering and whining, then she’s near. It’s also said that the sent of a nice floral fragrance, followed by an awful stench can indicate the presence of a Pontianak. These ghost creatures kill their victims by digging their sharp nails into someones stomach. They then proceed to eat the victim’s organs. In some cases, when a Pontianak wishes to extract revenge on a male victim, she will rip off their genitals with their bare hands (…*crosses legs*). The legend also says that if you have you’re eyes open while near one of these ghosts, she’ll suck them out of your head (how about you just stay away from it all together). Pontianak are said to locate their victims by sniffing for cloths that have been left outside to dry. This is why some Malays refuse to leave any article of clothing out at night. There spirits are said to reside inside Banana trees during the day.
There is a way to fend off a Pontianak. One must plunge a nail into a hole that’s located in the nape of their neck (I believe that hole is where the spirit sucks the blood of it’s victims). Doing so will transform the spirit into a beautiful woman and a good housewife until the nail is removed. A few videos supposedly showing the Pontianak have been uploaded to the internet over the years. One of the video, seen above, appears to show one of these female spirits standing in the middle of a highway as it flies up into the air and then back down as cars drive by it.
Thanks to this video, we know have proof that these spirits are real, right? Well, unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on whether you want a killer vampiric ghost woman to be real or not), it seems like this video is fake. After a bit of looking around, it seems like this video was part of some movie that was about the Pontianak. In this video, you can see an almost identical puppet (or actor, I really can’t tell) can be seen being lifted into the air via an elaborate pulley system. So, the video is most likely fake. But does that mean that the legend isn’t real as well? Ultimately, that’s gonna depend on you. I personally don’t think that the legend is real only because it sounds a bit too outlandish to be real. But who knows, maybe these spirits are real. What do you think? Are these vampiric spirits real, or are they just another made-up legend?
